Our Story
"Families don't just lose homes — they lose stability, direction, retirement, identity. The Family Foundation Fund exists to rebuild that path."
FFF was founded by three people who understood the post-foreclosure terrain firsthand — through decades of professional experience and the conviction that families who had already lost everything deserved a genuinely free path back.
The model: a 501(c)(3) applicant nonprofit that charges families no fees and no application costs. Where legal representation is involved, it is contingency-based — attorney fees are drawn from funds recovered, never paid by the family. Service to families is free. We are funded by sponsors, foundations, and partners. Our flagship program — the Family Sponsorship Carousel — lets individual donors and corporations choose a specific family to walk with monthly. Modeled after the Foster Families Foundation Project. Adapted for the post-foreclosure crisis.
The three co-founders built this foundation with their own time and resources. They bring backgrounds in banking and wealth management, community service, and technology. Year-One Executive Director salary: $0. Software developed for the foundation: licensed royalty-free to FFF.
We have filed for IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. The determination letter is pending standard processing. In the meantime, we operate publicly as an applicant nonprofit — every donation receipt acknowledges the pending status and the retroactive tax-deductibility upon determination.
FFF serves families anywhere in the country. Any family. Any county. Any timeline of their foreclosure. Free. Confidential. Inbound-only — we never solicit families. We are the door they walk through when they're ready.
